A typeface in development that aims to blend some of the dagger-sharp features of fraktur-style blackletter with a condensed take on the eye-watering contrasts of a Bodoni-esque face. With such pointy teeth and brutal vertical lines, what else could i call it except Hessian Condensed ?

More to come soon..

Images from a personal project run by Saori & i, aimed at cutting single-use plastic out of our daily lives. We looked at why plastic should be considered a non-disposable resource and also thought about recycling, packaging, consumer culture & the seductive allure of the supermarket aisle. We found it harder than we thought, but it gave us an appreciation for the value of plastic when used appropriately. The currently inactive blog is still online here.

The intent was to lasercut & photograph it but due to budget constraints it was instead photoshopped together. I was reponsible for some compositing, light effects and retouch.

A series of visuals created for Sydney beatmakers Hermitude ( on the Elefant Traks label) for their Threads tour. These visuals were made entirely from Max Roach video samples, coloured thread & 4 hand torches, with a lot of stop motion animation & a hefty slab of After Effects work. Look out for new visuals coming soon for their 2012 tour.
